We’re proud to call these men our executive board for the next two semesters. They have made a solemn commitment to lead our chapter with decorum and honor, and we know the future of our house is in capable hands. We’d like to give an Sig Senior Shoutout to brother Christopher Tufaro!

Christopher Tufaro is a senior studying philosophy with a minor in financial management. As a member of Sigma Chi, Christopher served two semesters as the Magister and two semesters as the recruitment chairman.

Outside of Sigma Chi, he has been involved in Catholic Society on the outreach board, Praxis, and the Phi Sigma Tau philosophy honorary. In his free time he leads CanaVox reading groups where he discusses marriage and family topics with high school students. After college he will enter the Navy as an intelligence officer.

We’re beyond proud of Chris and his accomplishments, and can’t wait to watch him pursue excellence in his postgrad career. In hoc Chris!

Congratulations to our Consul, Oliver Bieser, for not only running 100 miles consecutively but taking SECOND at the Rabid Raccoon 100! Outside of Sigma Chi he has been the vice president of the management consulting club, a career coach at the Hillsdale college career services office, and a producer for the career services podcast. He’s worked in private equity, IB, and management consulting, and will be working as an analyst at the ArkMalibu Investment Bank postgrad. The future is looking bright for Josh, and we are proud to call him our brother 💙💛

Ms. Klare has been a blessing to all the brothers for the past few years, from helping refurnish our house to sending gifts and well wishes for each brother’s birthday. Anytime Ms. Klare visits Hillsdale is a good time. We wish her and Tristan a happy future, and we hope everyone had a great parents weekend!

Chris is involved in multiple activities on campus, including Catholic Society and Federalist Society. When he’s not praying the rosary or learning about law, Chris can be found studying for his Philosophy classes. SIG SHOUTOUT: This week, the brothers at the Alpha Kappa chapter are eager to recognize the accomplishments of our newest member, Christopher Tufaro! Chris was an exemplary pledge throughout the first half of the semester and has been enjoying his time in Sigma Chi since his initiation on March 25th, 2023. For his initiation, Chris was joined by his grandfather and a Sigma Chi alumnus at University of Kentucky, Don Besch!

SIG SHOUTOUT: BROTHERS HAY, DRILL, GLAZER, SAPP, AND CALABRESE

Here at Alpha Kappa, several brothers are members of the Hillsdale Shotgun Team. The team competes across a variety of disciplines including Trap, Skeet, and Five Stand, amongst others. Recently, the team traveled to face several other schools in Missouri.

The brothers performed exceptionally well, with Davis Hay and Jordan Sapp posting 2 of the 5 highest scores for the day. Congrats to these men for their hard work and dedication to excellence!

He’s majoring in accounting and works for Pario Forensic Accounting, a St. Louis based firm, where he’ll work following his graduation next year. Around campus, you’ll find Dan serving as a Crew Leader for A Few Good Men, the Treasurer and Co-Founder of the Medical Awareness Network, and a barista at AJs Cafe.

Dan is a selfless leader and the funniest guy you’ll ever meet. The brothers at Alpha Kappa are proud to call him our Consul. IHSV!

They’ll use the weekend’s work to beat teams from schools like Harvard, Vanderbilt, and Norte Dame…just like they did last year.

This year, Brother Caleb Sampson became the Captain of Hillsdale College Mock Trial, and will lead the only D1 competitive event at Hillsdale!
